Embedded Guru
About Embedded Guru
The current economy trends put us all in the position where we need to
get a lot of results with little resources. Many companies are reducing their
workforce and find that they need to 'make do' with the resources that they
presently have. This often results in the finding that their domain experts do
not have the general knowledge needed to finish and productise for shipment.
Once a company finds this to be the case then they have need for a
'generalist', a person who has the broad technical experience and skills
needed to take the brain child of the domain experts and take it to market as a
product. In steps Embedded Guru as such a generalist.
When a domain expert performs his in-depth analyses and algorithmic
'voodoo' then they are left without the means to get it into the hands of the
sales persons in a form which can be demonstrated. The domain expert can
gain from a person who has experience in creating final, shippable products.
This is where I excel. Often an engineer with vertical market expertise is
uncomfortable working with the sales, training, and customer representatives.
My strong experience with representatives of these groups is available as your asset.
Many companies need vertical expertise to be applied toward the next product.
I take the brain-child of these experts on to be a complete product. This make the
expert available for this next product.
The process of making a product from an idea is an art. The finesse of
finding the 'right' feature set, cost point, and ease of presentation or a
demonstration vehicle is a challenge. The challenge of creating the
appropriate training for both the sales and customer is one that is non trivial.
I have many years of experience in fielding products both large and small and
have a proven track record in providing sales and training of complex products in a
manner which is complimentary to the market.
